چکیده

In the title mol-ecular salt, [C(6)H(5)(CH(3))(3)N](2)[SnBr(4.75)Cl(1.25)], the Sn(IV) atom (site symmetry ) adopts an octa-hedral coordination geometry. The Br and Cl atoms are disordered over three sites in 0.7415 (13):0.2585 (14), 0.8514 (14):0.1486 (14) and 0.7821 (14):0.2179 (14) ratios.

Bis[4-(dimethylamino)pyridinium] hexakis[bromido/chlorido(0.78/0.22)]stannate(IV)

The Sn atom in the title salt, (C(7)H(11)N(2))(2)[SnBr(4.67)Cl(1.33)], lies on a center of symmetry within an octa-hedron of disordered halogen atoms. The three independent halogen atoms are each a mixture of bromine and chlorine atoms [with site occupancies for bromine of 0.614 (1), 0.831 (1) and 0.888 (1)]. An N-H⋯ hydrogen bond is present.

Bis(trimethylphenylammonium) tetrabromidobis(4-chlorophenyl)stannate(IV)

The Sn(IV) atom in the title salt, [N(CH(3))(3)(C(6)H(5))](2)[SnBr(4)(C(6)H(4)Cl)(2)], exists in a distorted all-trans SnC(2)Br(4) octa-hedral geometry. The Sn(IV) atom lies on a center of inversion. Weak inter-molecular C-H⋯Br hydrogen bonding is observed between trimethyl-phenyl-ammonium cations and the Sn complex anion in the crystal structure.

Trimethylphenylammonium μ-bromido-bis[dibromidobis(4-bromobenzyl)stannate(IV)]

In the title salt, [C(6)H(5)N(CH(3))(3)][Sn(2)Br(5)(C(7)H(6)Br)(4)], the Sn(IV) atoms of the dinuclear anion are bridged by a Br atom; the Sn-Br(bridge) bond lengths are 2.9818 (5) and 3.0470 (5) Å. Both Sn atoms show a distorted cis-trigonal-bipyramidal coordination geometry that is distorted towards a square pyramid. In the crystal, weak C-H⋯π inter-actions occur between anions and cations.

catena-Poly[trimethylphenylammonium [[bromidocadmate(II)]-μ-bromido-μ-chlorido]]

In the title salt, (C(9)H(14)N)[CdBr(2)Cl], the Cd(II) atom is five-coordinated in a trigonal-bipyramidal coordination environment. All three of the halogen sites show disorder as a result of substitution of Cl for Br or Br for Cl. Two of the three halogen atoms are involved in bridging a pair of Cd(II) atoms, generating a linear polyanionic chain motif.

Synthesis and crystal structures of two new tin bis(carboranylamidinate) complexes

Reaction of 2 equiv. of the lithium carboranylamidinate Li[o-(C2H10B10)C(NCy)(NHCy)] with SnCl2 in THF afforded the stannylene compound bis(N,N'-dicyclohexylamidinatocarboranate)tin(II), SnII[o-(C2H10B10)C(NCy)(NHCy)]2 (1). A similar reaction of SnCl4 with 2 equiv. of Li[o-(C2H10B10)C(N i Pr)(NH i Pr)] unexpectedly afforded the known solvated penta-chlorido-stannate(IV) salt [Li(THF)4][SnCl5(TH...
